The rescue reviews a veterinary reference and two personal references, then follows up for an interview and any needed questions.

Confirm the match
If the match looks promising, the rescue will coordinate next steps and help you prepare for a calm transition home.
Before you apply
A few helpful things to consider
Applicants must be at least 21. Everyone in the household should be ready for the commitment, and renters should confirm that cats are permitted. Plan for a quiet transition space and gradual introductions to resident pets.
